🎯 What You’ll Need

— A video file (MP4, MOV, etc.)
— A Mac or Windows PC
— WALTR PRO
👉 Download WALTR PRO
— Your iPhone + cable or Wi-Fi

👣 Step-by-Step: Convert a Video into an iPhone Ringtone

1️⃣ Get the Audio from Your Video

To make a ringtone, you’ll need the audio from the video.

If your file is an MP4 or MOV, WALTR PRO can help extract the sound:

  1. Open WALTR PRO

  2. Drag & drop the video file into the app

  3. Right-click on the file name and choose Extract Audio (or use an online tool if needed)

You’ll now have a clean .m4a or .mp3 audio version of your video.

2️⃣ Rename the Audio File to .M4R (Ringtone Format)

iPhone ringtones must be in .m4r format.
Here’s how to do that:

  1. Find your extracted audio file

  2. Rename the extension from .m4a to .m4r

  3. Confirm the change when prompted

🎵 You now have a ringtone-ready file!

3️⃣ Send the .M4R File to Your iPhone with WALTR PRO

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer

  2. Open WALTR PRO

  3. Drag the .m4r file into the app

✅ The ringtone will be transferred directly to your iPhone’s Settings > Sounds > Ringtone section.

4️⃣ Set It As Your Ringtone

On your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone

  2. Find your custom ringtone (usually at the top)

  3. Tap to set it as your new ring 🎉

📌 Tips for Best Results

— Keep your ringtone under 30 seconds
— Trim the video beforehand if needed (using QuickTime, iMovie, etc.)
— Use WALTR PRO’s automatic conversion for best compatibility
