WALTR PRO
If you're wondering about the file, folder, and size limits for WALTR PRO, here’s everything you need to know before dragging large media to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Good news: WALTR PRO can handle pretty much anything — but there are a few things to keep in mind 👇
Updated 1 week ago
There’s no hard-coded size limit in WALTR PRO. You can transfer large files like:
— 4K movies
— High-res FLAC albums
— Long audiobooks
— Entire video lectures
However, real-world limits depend on:
— Available space on your iOS device
— Transfer method (USB vs Wi-Fi)
— File type compatibility (some formats are converted before transfer)
✅ Tested: files over 20GB transfer fine via USB
⚠️ Wi-Fi transfers may be slower or unstable with files over ~4GB
You can drag entire folders into WALTR PRO — there’s no folder size limit, but:
— Extremely large folders (50GB+) may take longer to process
— Folder structure will not be preserved in the iOS app — files are sorted based on type
Example: A folder with MP3s will end up in the Apple Music app; videos will appear in TV app.
— iPhone storage is the main bottleneck — check it before large transfers
— Long file names or special characters can occasionally cause errors
— If a file doesn’t show up on your device, check format compatibility here:

No hard limit — you can drop thousands of songs or multiple movies.
Just keep in mind: larger batches = longer processing times.
Yes — USB is faster and more stable for large files or folders.
For big transfers (over 2–4GB), USB is strongly recommended.
Nope. WALTR PRO doesn’t compress media — it converts formats only when needed, and always preserves the best quality possible.
