How do I change the default notification sound?
How-to customise your iPhone notification sounds.

Before you start: It is impossible to customise the notification sound for 3rd party applications unless the app developer build that functionality in.
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap Sounds & Haptics.
Under Sounds and Vibration Patterns, select the type of notification you want to change the sound for.
4. A list of various default sounds is at your disposal. Tap on the sound to listen to it.
Tip: If you have uploaded any ringtones, they will be displayed at the top of the list.
Once you select a new notification sound, a checkmark in front of the sound's name will mark your selection.
To change the sound for any other notification, repeat the steps above.
